Born in the late 70’s with Complex Coarctation of the Aorta & a Bicuspid Aortic Valve.  I have had 3 open heart surgeries and have had numerous catherisations. 

I have never let my CHD define me or hold me back, and now in my 40’s I have wore many hats – daughter, sister, wife, graduate, employee, home owner & privileged to have someone call me mum. I am truly grateful to medical science & to all of those who gave me the opportunity of life 😊
