Hello I’m Clare and I am the founder of BraveheartsNI. I am the Mammy of Braveheart Shealyn and the sister of Braveheart & Trustee Ann. Shealyn and I started BraveheartsNI to help teenagers like her. There was nothing in NI for teenagers and upwards living with CHD.

It really is a labour of love and it’s like a full time job even though my real full time job is working for Unite the Union within the education department.

We know how it feels to be you – because we are you. We are Bravehearts, Mums, Dads, Families and Friends. We are all volunteers here to help you. I couldn’t be prouder of our young volunteer charity. It’s an incredible ethos to live by. There is nothing else out there like us. I can’t wait to see what the future brings for us, but we need you to get involved – hold fundraisers, visit others in hospitals or at home or simply turn up when we send out a call for help!
